Here are some things I can do to liven up your website.  A lot of people believe that these types of things are very slow but you can see how quickly this page loads.

Ticker Tapes

"Rollover" effect

Move your cursor over the image to the left and watch the text change from black to blue

This is done by creating two images that are identical in every way except for text color and then "swapping" them when the cursor rolls over the image and when it leaves.  Here are the two individual images used in the above rollover effect:

"Animated GIF"

An animated GIF is like a mini-cartoon playing on your site.

If you want, you can have an animated GIF playing constantly, like the one on the left.

Continuous action can get a bit tiresome.  Another option is to combine the "rollover effect" with an "animated GIF", as follows:
