This client helps families get the best financial aid packages for their children

The internal system shown above helps them provide various services to their clients. One of the most difficult services they provide is keeping track of what has to be done on what date for each of their clients, depending on the level of service purchased.

The major purpose of this system is to track:

Tasks this client has agreed to perform on behalf of each of their clients,
Tracking of which of their employees did which task on which date,
Reporting to show tasks that are due soon, so they can be completed on time,
Automatic generation of letters on certain dates,
Storage and retrieval of detailed information required for various grant and financial aid applications.

Interesting features

Internet upload: When a single button is clicked, the system copies selected information into a different database for display to this client's sales reps on the Internet. Then that database is copied to the website, and sales reps can access up-to-date information on the status of all the tasks for all their clients.

Automatic task generation: When a new client is added into the system, the program automatically adds all the tasks appropriate to the level of service that was purchased by that particular client.

Automatic letter generation: The system automatically generates a number of different letters appropriate to a certain task when that task becomes due.

Automatic response to confirmed item: When certain tasks are confirmed (for example, receipt of a certain document), then other tasks have to be done. This system automatically adds those tasks as required.
